October 15th 2012

Some days the choices are made so easily and I just naturally reach for the correct foods or I don't eat when I am not hungry.
Other days it is a huge battle!
My first line of defense is water. When I can, I drink as much as possible.
I don't drink anything but water or tea. It is wasting calories to drink something else and it does not help my body as much as water does.
Today I did very well in the water department.... fully hydrated!
However, a Graham cracker did make its way into my hands this afternoon.
The Lord is good and gives strength when I am at my most weak.
I love not having to drink coffee but, getting energy from the foods I eat.
Dinner was 1/2 a pork chop, rice and a large serving of kale/broccoli.
I actually like kale now, and am so amazed at all the health benefits of eating it.
Here's to another day of working towards my goal.
