September 24th

Well, it is about 17 days into this round of the challenge and things are going surprisingly well! I have two accountability partners which greatly encourages me to keep on keeping on, so to speak. It is amazing how if you pull with others the load of working out and eating well does not seem so heavy.

I've been focused on eating Paleo for about 12 days now, and am feeling much better due to it. The first week was terrible. I had no energy, was grumpy, dumpy, angry and depressed plus a few other unpleasant dwarfs. Now, that it's cleared up I have new energy, less low blood sugar slumps and the weight has been falling off. I have lost 10 pounds since the first day, 17 days ago of BBM.





If you make a choice to eat healthy, just take it one day at a time. This is not a race to see how fast it can come off. It is about making wise choices for your body, and for your mind one day at a time. I don't think this should just be limited to food. Also, focus on early bedtime, and getting out in God's glorious creation. The most important is letting go of guilt and the need to be perfect all the time. Sit back and watch a movie with your kids or just read. Don't feel pressured to get it all done. Part of what caused me to eat so much was stress. When that goes down, my desire to consume nasty junk goes down too!

I wanted to share photos of my cute new workout outfit!  I headed out to GAP and picked it up this weekend with a friend. It makes me feel cool and confidant as I sweat away!
